A piece of Microsoft's "Office Suite." It is commonly used in a variety of ways by business, education and government employees to provide a computerized "slide-show" for enhancing a presentation.

How To Create a Presentation
(Classroom Tutorial)

1. Launch Microsoft Powerpoint


2. If you want to use a theme, click Design in the menu bar.

3. Click on the specific theme you want from the list of choices.



4. Click on the 'Click to add title' and 'Click to add subtitle' boxes to add information about your presentation.



5. Click on 'New Slide' in the Home menu bar to add new slides.



6.Continue adding information and pictures as you see it.



7. Once finished, click on FileSave As the name of your presentation file and Save.



8. You may change the Picture Style by clicking on the picture, clickFormat in the menu bar, and choose your style.



9. Click Insert in the menu bar, click Text Box to add text and press Enter.



10. To add Transitions, click Transitions in the menu bar and you may scroll through all the choices.



11. To add Animations, click Animations in the menu bar and you may scroll through all the choices.


12. You may sort the order of animation in the Reorder Animation.



13. Click Insert in the menu bar and click Sound to add audio.



14. You may edit the audio by using the Audio Tools in the menu bar.



15. To add a video, click Insert in the menu bar, click Video.



16. Proceed your presentation to the end using these basic steps.
